To optimise launch and spin charateristics, an external sole weight positions
the centre of gravity low and farther from the face.
The longer head profile front ot back increases the moment of inertia in
both axis' to promote longer, more accurate results.
Engineered to deliver higher ball speeds for greater distance, the larger,
thin face produces more consistent and forgiving performance across the entire
hitting surface.

The new PING-designed TFC 149D high balance point shaft allows for a five
gram increase in head mass (without increasing swingweight or overall weight)
which results in higher ball speeds and an increased moment of inertia.
